Saghar Siddiqui poetry - Saghar Siddiqui was born in 1928 in Ambala. His real name was Muhammad Akhtar. He lived the early life in Ambala and Saharanpur (UP, India). He was a great Urdu poet of Pakistan. In spite of his ruined and tragic turns of his life, he remained famous and successful till and after his death. Saghar is also known as a Saint. Sagar Siddiqui Poetry includes Zindagi Jabr E Musalsal Ki Tarah Kati, Teri Nazar Ka Rang Bahanon Ne Le Liya, Hai Duaa Yaad Magar Harf-E-Duaa and several others are listed on Urdu Adab. He died in Lahore on 19 July 1974 at age 46. He is still known for some of his verses (ash'aar) are among the most excellent in Urdu poetry. His famous Poetry ash’aar that tells about his condition at the end days of Sagar’s life is “Jiss uhad may lutt jaye faqiroun ki kamaai, Uss uhad k Sultan se kuch bhool hui hai”. It is incredible that he kept his inner self so pure and so transcending.
